How to install a Mitsubishi 09 Outlander DVD GPS Navi ? - Car DVD Installation Series
Now more and more people purchase car DVD players because this powerful multimedia system can bring great enjoyment to car owners. While not everyone knows how to install it. Here is some Guides from Qualir. The car below is Mitsubishi 09 Outlander.
The Mitsubishi Outlander is a crossover manufactured by Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors. It was originally known as the Mitsubishi Airtrek when it was introduced in Japan in 2001, and was based on the Mitsubishi ASX concept vehicle exhibited at the 2001 North American International Auto Show. The ASX (Active Sports Crossover) represented Mitsubishi's approach to the industry wide XUV trend for retaining the all-season and off-road abilities offered by a high ground clearance and four-wheel drive, while still offering car-like levels of emissions, economy and size.
The original Airtrek name was chosen to "describe the vehicle's ability to transport its passengers on adventure-packed journeys in a 'free-as-a-bird' manner", and was "coined from Air and Trek to express the idea of footloose, adventure-filled motoring pleasure." The Outlander nameplate which replaced it evoked a "feeling of journeying to distant, unexplored lands in search of adventure."
1 Take off the wind letout from the bottom up on the left side,then pull it out.
2 Take off the wind letout from the bottom up on the right side.
3 Remove the two screws of the console panel, then take out the inside frame first.
4 Prepare for taking out the outside frame, then remove the four screws of the bracket.
5 Use the factory method of the camera cable connection.
(1)The yellow one is the power cable,the white one is for the reverse detect,connect it to the three special cables for the reverse detect.
(2)From the front side:the third one which is yellow from the left is the cable for the power of the camera,the fourth one which is blue is for the output of the camera video.
(3)From the reverse side:the first one which is white from the right is the cable for reverse control(12V when reversing).
6 Connect the special cables,then fix the GPS antenna to the right place.
7 Install the special bracket.
8 Connect the cables to the interface on the rear of main unit and see the car entertainment effect after the installation of the the main unit.

Assuming your TV has 2 HDMI inputs & a optical audio output, then I would plug them both to the TV via HDMI cable. Then use an optical audio cable from the TV to your receiver.
