I am looking to buy a projector for my home; any guidelines would be welcome?
I don't know what particulars I should be looking out for; I am aware of the obvious 'lamp life' issues with cheap secondhand models but even with that there is a huge range of prices (£150 - £3000) on the net. What are the main things I should be looking out for? I just want it to be able to display a good-size (4" by 3"?) picture in low light, have VGA (preferably DVI) input for my PC and a remote. If you know any models which fit this bill and work well, I would appreciate some recommendations. Thanks in advance.
Basically you need to look for more lumens, the more lumens your projector have more chances you have to project your images in rooms with/ without light with same image quality. a good lumens level is more than 1500.
If you are planning to connect it to your PC. look the image resolution be an VGA and more than 800 x600
