Problems with wireless! HELP PLEASE!?
Well, i have 1 desktop with Windows XP and 2 laptops both with Windows Vista. I got a Scientific Atlanta Cable wireless modem model: DPR2320R2. Well, i connect by wire and navegate on internet with the desktop pc. But when i try to connect with one laptop by WiFi, it says that "the web its no recognized".. What i have to do? the solutions that the computer gaves me doesnt works!! HELP PLEASE!
Most wireless router come with a Cd that you use to set up the wirelesss connection. Run the CD on the wired PC where you can set up the SSID (network name) and WEP or WPA key (the password). When done, make sure your laptop wifi button is turned on as indicated by a little green or blue button on the outside of the laptop. Your WIndows Vista will pop up a computer monitor icon in the bottom right corner and say "wireless networks available" so click on that to connect and enter the password. You should be able to get online then. If not try it on the other laptop to see if just the one laptop has a problem. When all else fails, chat online with the router manufacturer for support.
