Advansys Achieve PCI Level 1 Compliance

Advansys are one of only a handful of website and ecommerce
providers to have achieved PCI level 1
compliance
and working hard to educate retailers about the importance of
compliancy.

Fraudsters have become more in tune with new technology and
have discovered that they can obtain card details from unsecure websites and
use these to make vast amounts of money with very little risk compared to other
crimes. Up until recently the payment card industry has paid the price for
these compromises in data security, but as criminal activity increases the
payment card industry have made it the focus of the individual retailer to
ensure security.

Unknown by many retailers, payment card providers such as
Visa and Mastercard can now impose fines in excess of £10K to retailers that
fail to implement appropriate security measures. To ensure that you are
fulfilling the required security criteria it is recommenced to opt for a PCI
managed service
when choosing an ecommerce provider.

A council comprising of all of the major card providers has
been set up in order to combat the problem of online fraud. The Payment Card Industry Security Standards
Council
(PCI SSC) has set up two
sets of rules that online retailers should follow in order to ensure they are
not penalised. The first set of rules comprise of technical and operational
requirements for all businesses that handle card holder data – the Payment Card
Industry Data Security standards (PCI DSS). The second set applies to software
vendors and developers and comprise or 12
PCI Requirements
which when implemented in their entirety ensure that
software is as secure as possible – Payment
application-qualified security standard (PA-DSS).

Many ecommerce providers and ecommerce software providers
claim to be PCI complaint when they do not fulfil all 12 PCI requirements, some
can fulfil as little as just one. Unless your supplier is PCI level 1 complaint
you cannot be sure that you will not incur a penalty should a data breech happen.

Advansys Ltd have been established for more than 10 years
and have a solid knowledge of ecommerce and website security. Advansys have
achieved PCI level 1 compliancy
which means they are a PCI Level 1 service provider and
offer a PCI Managed Ecommerce Service that
alleviates the risk t retailers. Having fulfilled all 12 PCI requirements, Advansys have demonstrated that all of their
business processes and infrastructures meet the highest level of security
throughout the life cycle of a credit transaction. With a proven understanding
of the importance of customer data and payment security for online businesses,

card is dlink cam is 2.4 ghz

You can't. It needs to communicate to its own wireless receiver module. You can connect THAT receiver module into a video input on your PC however. That should get what you want.
