Do You Need A Protection Home Video Security System?

There are several types of home video security system. There are wired video surveillance systems, wireless, VCR system and IP-based systems. Wired systems can be connected to other security devices like VCR.

 

Wireless systems need televisions or computers to detect and start recording. The IP-based or web-based systems require the use of internet for recording and streaming. Whatever video security system you may choose for your home, you may need similar equipment.

IP-based system may need a specific IP camera. You should consider few factors for your IP cameras. Determine the distance and the width of the area you want covered for surveillance because that shall be the basis for knowing the right lens. The higher the focal length in millimeter, the smaller will be the field of view. You will also get more magnification.

 

The sensitivity of the camera should be considered as well. If you want to do security surveillance even at night, you may want to select low-light camera for home video security. The ‘lux' rating determines how well a camera can see in dim light.

 

Auto-iris lens can adjust to the light in case you want to install the IP security cameras in a wide range of lighting conditions such as the outdoor. Also, the surveillance cameras come in digital PTZ or mechanical PTZ. PTZ stands for Pan Tilt Zoom.

 

Now, sometimes, there are fast-moving objects and you may want to catch its motion and speed. For this purpose, your home video security camera requires high frame rate. However, if you want a camera for general surveillance, a 1 or 2 frames per second is ideal.

 

Installing a home video security system can reduce the likelihood of break-ins. If indeed, a break-in happened, there are high chances of catching the culprit. Safety is the primary intent for getting video surveillance. It simply reduces crime.

Should i buy the Xbox 360 or PS3 and if PS3 wich one? 10 PTZ?

So I was going to buy a ps3 but I wanted to rethink it and inform myself...
So like wich 1 is better for what ? What does each system have wich the other one dosent?
And lets say I finally choose to buy a PS3, were is the difference between the different models besides the Hard drive size?
If there is no differnce can i just buy a small HDD Ps3 and attach an external HDD?
And is there w way to get it region free as maybe im going to take it to europe...
If no is there an alternative? Download Movies over Ps3? Rent them over ps3?
And I heard something about accounts getting blocked and making both systems worthless...
So what up with that ? What do u have to do so they block ur ps3?
Is it like a security thing so u dont like download games or movies for free and theyll bloch it?
Or how does it work?

Personally, I prefer the PS3, I wanted one since they came out and just got a 120GB slim in October I believe.
I like the PS3 because it is a bluray player so I can watch bluray movies Buying a bluray player by itself is going to cost you around $200-$300 anyway, and the PS3 is still seen as one of the best ones around.
The PS3 has a good catalogue of games, with a lot of AAA titles, but the 360 does have more games.
It does have more power than the Xbox, though usually only 1st party games (games developed by Sony and it's studio's) really take advantage of the extra power.
I like the controller better, a lot of people do not though. They usually complain about the L2 and R2 buttons, but I find them fine. I find the PS3 controller has a better feel to it, like it has better build quality.
The PS3 has free online. This means that you do not have to pay a cent to play games online. If you buy an online game when you buy your PS3, you can play online as soon as you get the PS3 connected to the internet.
One downside to the online experience that comes with the PS3 is the way they handle chat and friends and such. For instance, if I go online and see that my friend is online and I want to invite him to play a game with me, I have to send him a text message and he then has to read it, quit his game, and then we can talk about what we want to play. I have actually only heard about this, I have not tried it myself, but I know it is a lot clunkier than the 360 in this perspective.
Also, connecting the PS3 to the internet is very easy since it is wireless out of the box. The PlayStaionNetwork is very nice. It is easy to navigate and find what you want. This is where you will find downloadable games, free demos, videos, and other cool stuff.
The PS3 does have Home if you are interested, but it isn't really that great. If you want to know about Home just youtube or google it.
I also like the look of the PS3 more than the 360.

So, for the Xbox;

No bluray for 360.
The catalogue of games is great, a little more than the PS3, but most of the big games go to both consoles.
More of your friends are likely to have a 360, and so you can play online with them. As I said before, the online friend stuff is meant to be better on 360.
You have to pay for online serice for the 360. I think it is around $50 a year for silver membership, I am not sure though.
Also, to connect a 360 to the internet and get it online you can plug an ethernet cord into it, just like the PS3, or you can buy a wireless adapter to use it with a wireless router. If you want to connect it wirelessly, this will cost you an extra $100, so add that onto the price of the 360.
The 360 generally has better in game textures than the PS3, but this is due to the way the games are made, not the console itself.
The controller is good, but the d-pad is terrible and there is no excuse for this, it should have been fixed a long time ago.
The 360 has avatars, which is sort of like your people in home, but you can't really do anything with them except some games do use your avatar (exactly like Mii's).
There are also downloadable games on the 360, but it also has a special place where you can buy indie games.
You can also play some original Xbox games on the 360.

About the models of the PS3, I am not too sure about the differences between the fat PS3's other than the hard drive size and the fact that if you get a 60GB one, it will be backwards compatible, which means you can play PS2 games on it, and even PS1 games I think. I am very sure that the only difference between the 250GB slim and the 120GB slim is the size.
I think you should be able to attach an external hard drive, I am not sure though. I do know that it is very easy and cheap to just buy a bigger hard drive and put it in your PS3. I do not think it voids the warranty, and there are lots of guides on how to do it.
I am not sure about the regions, sorry.
Both consoles have netflix now, so that is nice, but you can also buy movies directly from Sony and Microsoft I think.
About the blocking stuff....I am pretty sure it was only or mostly on the 360, and it was because people were modding them so that they could play bootleg games for free. Microsoft just made it so that they couldn't use live anymore, but I am fairly sure they can still use the Xbox. For the PS3 if they block your account, then you can just make a new one for free, and very easiy, but as long as you don't do anything illegal then you should be fine.

I geuss that's it...I am biased, but I think the PS3 is better. In a perfect world we would all have them both and mushrooms would only exist in Mario games, but tis not so.

I forgot to mention the RROD, new 360 will hardly ever get the red ring of death, so you are basically safe that way
