Can you get a standalone DVR with guide with out digital cable other then your cable company for basic only?
Like own it and not have to pay a rental fee. Kind of like how we owned our vcrs before a lot of us got DVR with our cable.
You can get standalone DVD recorder DVRs that work with antenna or cable. Most don't have a guide though. Some do.
You cannot own cable DVRs.
